  1. Wow! That’s awesome. Sounds like you are on your way to a change in eating habits. I dislike the 4 letter word “diet”. If you can keep the mindset that you’re not on a diet, rather you are making healthy food choices, it makes a difference. I’m not saying you will ever prefer tempeh to meat! But there are foods that you will enjoy when you stat eating them. It’s funny how the only time I ate sweet potatoes was at Thanksgiving and then it was loaded with brown sugar, butter, and marshmallows. Now, we eat sweet potatoes rather than white potatoes and we actually prefer them. I bake them in the oven and sprinkle with cinnamon. Yummy!

    I know it isn’t easy. They say if you really have a craving for something, keep busy with something for ten minutes and the craving usually goes away. Also, there are tons of support groups on- line. Congrats on your accomplishment!

    • Yeah I am definitely not on a diet. I am changing the way I appreciate food and looking to enjoy foods that are good fuel for my body rather than only tasting good. I love sweet potatoes!
