I have been meaning to get back to writing more regularly. Not for anyone really, no one has been asking me to write. I just want to write. I like writing, it helps me sort out my thoughts.
I don’t know about you but my head is full of ideas and at the same time my world is full of distractions. I need to write to sort out what I am really thinking. Something about writing it down, finding just the right words, makes those overwhelming thoughts feel more manageable. The problem is, my world seems to be against me writing. Every time I sit down to write my mind is flooded with all the other things I should be doing with that time or one of my kids is in my face needing my attention. You put off writing long enough and it starts to become real hard to say that you write.
But as much as my world keeps my making writing a challenge, it also keeps giving me so much to write about. People keep reminding me to write it down. When you have an idea, learn something new or have something special happen, write it down. So in order to get back into writing, I have to start. That’s what this is, me starting. I plan to be doing this more and more, I need to, I really do.
