My name is Tye Parks. Thanks for checking out my site. Let me tell you a little about myself.
I have served as a stateside missionary for over a decade. I started in ministry as a campus minister with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship where I served for 9 years working with college students. I currently serve with Pioneer Bible Translators as the Social Media Engagement Strategist.
I am passionate about seeing God raise up the next generation of missionaries to the Bibleless. Of the just over 7000 languages spoken around the world, less than 700 have a complete Bible, to date, there are still nearly 2000 languages (approximately 300 Signed languages) representing over 180 million people who do not have a single verse of Scripture in the language of their heart. Of these Bibleless languages, 900 do not have church or even a neighbor who is a follower of Jesus.
I am passionate about seeing people say “Yes!” to God’s call on their lives. I love to challenge people to “go all-in” with Jesus and leverage their skills, education, and resources for the Kingdom of God.
I married to Amber and we have twin daughters and a son.
